With bold palm tree motifs and soft washes of colour, our Palm Tree Jug encapsulates the awe inspiring quality of the palm groves dotted along the Nile. Perfect for al fresco dining or on a summer table. Hand sculpted and kiln fired in Fayoum. It comes with a small plate to catch waterdrops and humidity passing the unglazed clay at the bottom.
As it may be porous, it is recommended to soak it in water before using it as a vase and place a plate underneath to protect delicate surfaces.

We recommend hand washing in warm water and drying. Please do not place in the microwave, directly on top of a burner, or in the oven. Using harsh scrubbing cream or pads to clean can scratch the surface. Fayoum pottery is meant to be used, held and enjoyed on a daily basis. Proper care and handling of the pieces will help retain their beauty and function for years.
