Exchange and return
Our goods and our responsibility for shipping
Our products are unique and we sell products and vintage items that cannot be reproduced and replaced.
Therefore, we have a policy that means that all transported goods are shipped at the customer's own risk and under Posten/Bring's insurance and liability.
Our shipments are sent with Posten/Bring with insurance up to 10,000 NOK. All questions about damage to goods or lost packages must be directed directly to Posten/Bring. If you want to be completely sure and have the opportunity to pick up at the store at St hanshaugen, we recommend it.
Please note: We disclaim all liability once the order has left the store, and we hope for your understanding. Should you not accept these rules, we ask that you reconsider your purchase.
Environmental considerations
We are committed to the environment and prioritize the reuse of packaging. Therefore, you may receive your items in boxes that show signs of previous use, with various logos or handwritten notes. This is our contribution to reducing waste, and we thank you for supporting our environmental efforts.
International customers
If you would like delivery outside of Norway, please contact us before making your purchase to receive a shipping quote. Please note that the recipient is responsible for any VAT and customs fees.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Vintage products: Murano lamps, vintage chandeliers, art, special orders (e.g. lamps, mirrors, furniture, textiles, wallpaper, carpets) are made to order and cannot be returned to either the manufacturer or Alabaster Studio.
Vintage and exhibition furniture is sold "as is" and may have defects/damage and cannot be exchanged or returned.
Documentation on older/vintage furniture/lamps is also very rarely included with the product and should you require this, we ask you to consider the purchase or inquire if it can be obtained before making a purchase.
Vintage lamps: Some vintage lamps may require new electrical installation such as base, cord etc. but are sold as is. It is the customer's responsibility to have this installed but we are more than happy to help by recommending professionals.
Murano lamps: These products cannot be exchanged or refunded. The lamps are shipped to Norway from Italy on order and there are no exchanges or returns, so consider carefully before ordering a lamp and feel free to consult us if you are unsure about color, model, size, etc.
Flowers / Christmas wreaths: Contact the gardener directly for any complaints, questions and events.
Olive oil bottles/Clay/ceramics: Our olive oil bottles and everything from Georgia/Anut/Malaika are made of clay which becomes a porous material when fired over a long period of time.
The olive oil bottles, vases and carafes from Georgia/Anut/Malaika can "sweat" at the bottom, so wipe them regularly and use protection underneath on delicate surfaces.
There is no warranty on bottles/products that emit moisture.
The bottles should only be washed by hand with mild soap and warm water.
Order items: Items that we do not have in store and in stock must be special ordered for the customer. Delivery times are usually no more than 1-3 weeks, but we reserve the right to take longer and disclaim all liability. We have no control over production or the manufacturer's shipping.
There are NO exchanges/returns on any ordered items.
