The idea behind Jio Furniture is that you as a customer should be able to influence your own furniture so much that you feel it becomes a personal part of your home. By investing in something personal, it becomes a piece of furniture that will be passed down from generation to generation.
Based on a timeless shape and the ability to cover the furniture with different fabrics, Jio creates a unique piece of furniture. The furniture is produced in their carpentry workshop in Sweden, with a solid wood frame, and for some models we even still use spring boxes. They are personally upholstered and covered by craftsmen, as has been done since the company started in 1941.
When you buy a piece of furniture, you choose the size, upholstery material and fabric.

General questions
What is the delivery time for a piece of furniture?
This varies, but as a starting point it is approximately 2-3 months delivery time.
How much fabric do I need to cover a sofa or chair?
This varies of course based on the size of the piece of furniture. We usually say that a sofa of about 2 meters needs approximately 13 meters of fabric. For a chair ala Howard variant we estimate about 6.5 meters of fabric.
What choices do you have for fillings for the pillows?
At Jio, you can choose between three different options for pillow quality.
- Seabird feathers + shredded acrylic. The softest pillow, which feels like a pure down/feather pillow. This one needs to be beaten up to regain its shape.
- KFD (foam core core with feathers around. This is soft, and holds its shape better. (Less banging, but still quite soft)
- Foam rubber cushion (standard). Holds its shape. The firmest cushion with the lightest weight.
How much does a Jio furniture cost?
The price depends on which piece of furniture you want. In order to be able to give you an accurate quote, we would like you to send us the dimensions of the piece of furniture you want, as well as what kind of cushion filling you want, and we will get back to you with a quote as soon as we can.
If you do not specify cushion filling, we will include foam rubber (cold foam) in the offer as this is standard.
What are the benefits of a Jio piece of furniture?
A Jio furniture is a sustainable choice. The production takes place in Jönköping, Sweden and is therefore short-distance. It is produced in solid wood frames with high quality that makes the furniture durable over a long time. You can have it upholstered in the fabric of your choice, and if you want to change the fabric later, it is entirely possible.
What other options are there?
You can choose whether you want loose or fixed upholstery, and the color you want for the legs. Both varnish and stain are possible! In addition, you can choose the number of cushions you want in both the seat and back.
