Design your kitchen at Alabaster Studio

At Alabaster Studio, we help you create a kitchen that feels and functions like a natural part of your home. We design with the space, the light, and the life lived there in mind, and aim to make the process inspiring and easy from start to finish.

How our design meetings work

The best way to get started is to schedule a meeting with one of our designers. During the meeting, we will go over your needs, wishes and possibilities, and you will receive suggestions for a layout and expression for your kitchen. A design meeting usually lasts between two and four hours , depending on the scope of the project.

We charge 1500 kroner per hour for the design work. After the meeting, you will be sent drawings and a detailed quote for the kitchen.

For customers who live outside of Oslo, we also offer digital meetings.

When you should contact

To ensure smooth planning and production, we recommend that you contact us approximately six months before your desired installation. We can also work with shorter timeframes, but we appreciate having as much time as possible to create something well thought out.

What we need from you

In order to prepare for the meeting, we would appreciate it if you would send us some information about the project.

This includes:
• Address and contact information
• Time perspective for the project
• Budget, and whether it includes countertops, appliances, and installation
• A simple floor plan, either an architect's drawing or a hand sketch with dimensions of the room, including windows, doors and ceiling height
• Information about any construction work or changes requiring application
• What style you envision, preferably with reference images or a Pinterest board
• Any requests for white goods and solutions
