The oak leaf has always been Cathy's favorite leaf, and she knew early on that she wanted to create a wallpaper with this motif. Oak trees, with their beautifully shaped leaves with wavy edges, are a common tree in Sweden. Cathy pays homage to her Swedish heritage by drawing inspiration from the original wallpapers in Sweden's many old castles, creating a layered pattern in a traditional color palette.
